Pay a Fare Using the Umo App

Paying your fare with the Umo App uses a two-dimensional QR barcode, (also known as a "Quick Response" (QR) code or "Validation Code") that is linked to your Umo App account once you buy a pass or add a cash balance to your Umo Wallet.

redeem-benefit.png You can access your code for trip validation by tapping Validation Code under My Wallet on the home screen or going to Wallet > Show Code.

Pay a fare 

  1. From the main screen, tap Wallet Wallet_icon.png. 
  2. On the My Wallet screen, you can either:
    • Tap Show Code to show your validation code to the trip validator –or–
    • Scan the code on the vehicle’s validation reader
