Buy a pass in the Umo Mobility App
If your transit agency offers passes, you can purchase a pass with the Umo App by going to Wallet > Buy > Add Pass > select a pass > Continue > Confirm and Pay.

Types of passes vary — check with your local transit agency to see what specific passes they offer.

If you don’t already have a payment method set up in the Umo App, you can add one when buying a pass.
Before you begin:
How to buy a Umo pass
- From the main screen of the Umo App, tap the Wallet
icon at the bottom of the screen.
- On the Wallet screen, tap the Buy button.
- On the Load Your Wallet screen, select Add Pass and select the pass you want to purchase.
- If you haven't already added a payment method, tap Add Payment Method and enter your payment information.
- Once you've entered your payment details, tap Save card.
Tips:
- You can also tap the Camera icon
to scan your credit or debit card:
- Position your credit or debit card within the frame so that the card number is visible.
- Once your card is scanned, fill in the remaining information.
- If your transit agency offers Apple Pay
and Google Pay
as payment methods, you can select either of these for payment.
- You can also use money in your Umo account balance to buy a pass.
- Review your purchase, confirm your transit agency, and tap the Confirm and Pay button.
The Umo App confirms your pass purchase and it appears on the home screen and in your Umo Wallet
.
From here, you can you can board the vehicle and:

to show your QR code to pay for your trip –or–
- Tap Code
at the bottom of the app to show your QR code to pay for your trip.
