- The update will be loaded onto your phone automatically if you have opted for auto-updates and have appropriate network settings configured.
- If you have not opted for auto-updates of Umo App, you will need to manually update the app.

- Simplified 'Home' screen – the Umo App's main screen (now called 'Home') simplifies navigation.
- Ease-of-navigation – 'Routes' replaces 'Lines' on the main/home screen of the Umo App update, streamlining your access to bus and train options on the 'Ride' screen.
- Enhanced navigation with Nearby and Favorites – you can now instantly access your "Recent" travel history and favorites right from the main screen, enhancing your navigation with the convenience of 'Recents' and 'Favorites' at your fingertips (iOS only at this time).
Improved payment flexibility
- Unified wallet – the updated version now shows all stored value (a.k.a. cash balances) and passes from all agencies at once to help you more easily understand what you have purchased.
- Pass purchases with stored value – you can now use your stored value (a.k.a. cash balances) to purchase passes for smoother and convenient fare purchases.
- Cross-agency fare options – you can now view fare details across transit agencies, streamlining your travel planning and ensuring you always find the most cost-efficient journey options available.
- Payment method deletion – you can now delete a payment method (whereas in the current version, you can only remove a payment method by replacing it with another).

- Easier agency location – you can now easily locate the transit agency closest in proximity to you, as agencies are now clearly listed by nearness to the you, ensuring that you select the correct, intended transit agency when you create an account and purchase fare products.
- Improved benefit code placement – benefit codes are now located in the main menu for seamless discounts or comped trips.
- Enhanced ride history – you now have access to more ride-history details, including month-by-month or an abbreviated history directly from the main menu for easy tracking and management.
- Manual account deletion – you now have the ability to delete your account, ensuring complete removal of personal and payment information for peace of mind.
How do I buy a Umo Pass?
If your transit agency offers passes, you can purchase a pass with the Umo App by going to Wallet > Buy > Add Pass > Select a Pass > Purchase.
You can now tap Show Code on the Home screen or tap the Code icon to scan your validation code on the electronic reader to validate your fare when boarding.
How do I add money to my Umo App account?
If your transit agency offers the ability to add cash ("Stored Value") to your Umo App account, you can purchase stored value with the Umo App by going to Wallet > Buy > Add Money > select amount > Purchase.
You can now tap Show Code on the Home screen or tap the Code icon to scan your validation code on the electronic reader to validate your fare when boarding.
How do I change my payment method?
You can add or remove a saved payment method by tapping the navigation menu icon > View My Account > Payment > Replace.
You can delete a payment method by tapping the navigation menu icon > View My Account > Payment > Remove.
How do I plan a trip with the Umo App?
You can plan a trip with the Umo App by tapping the Ride icon and entering a destination in the Where to? field and selecting your preferred starting point and destination, and then tapping your preferred trip-planning result.
How does my Umo "Wallet" work?
You can use your Umo App Wallet to purchase a transit pass or add more money to your Umo account.
How do I access my Umo App Wallet?
Tap the Wallet icon to add money or passes, or to set up autoload.
How do I show my trip validation (QR code) to board?
You can access the validation code for your trip by tapping the Code icon. Show the code to the reader when boarding, and the Umo App will automatically use a pass or Stored Value from your Umo Wallet.
How do I manage my Umo App account?
You can manage your Umo App account details by tapping the navigation menu icon from the Home screen > View My Account > and selecting either My Profile (to update your profile information) or Payment to add, remove, or replace a payment method.
- On the My Profile screen, tap Edit to edit your First Name, Last Name, Username, Email, or Phone information.
- On the Payment screen, tap either Remove or Replace to remove or replace your payment card on file. Tap Add a Card to add a payment method to your account.
How do I change my location?
You can change your location by tapping the current agency in the top right corner of the Home screen. On the Location screen, use the Search field to locate your transit agency, or scroll through the list to locate the agencies closest in proximity to you. If you have enabled location services while using the app, the transit agency closest to you will be at the top of the list.

How do I redeem a benefit code?
You can redeem a benefit code by tapping the navigation menu icon from the Home screen > Redeem Benefit Code > enter your 8-character benefit code > Redeem Code to redeem your discount fare.
How do I view my rides and transaction history?
You can view your rides and transactions histories by tapping the navigation menu icon from the Home screen > View History > and tapping either the Rides or Transactions tabs for more details.
How do I delete my account?
Please contact your local transit agency and request that your Umo account be deleted.
Deleting your account ensures complete removal of personal and payment information for your peace of mind.

For questions or feedback related to stations, transit times, payment issues, passes, cash balances, transfers, real-time bus information, youth or senior discounts, student passes, or potential refunds — please contact your local transit agency.
