If you can’t remember if you created an account with your mobile number or with an email/username and password, and plan to logout of the mobile app, you will need to determine your account credentials to ensure you login to the correct account.
If you have already created a Umo account, but are unable to login or do not remember how you created your account, do not create a new account. If you create a new account, your previously purchased cash balance or passes will not display since they are not linked with your newly created account. Please contact your transit agency for support with recovering your account and accessing your purchases.
Find your account credentials to login
You must be logged into your account on the mobile app. If you are not, please contact your local transit agency to recover your account.
- From the home page click the hamburger menu
in the upper left hand corner of the screen
- Click 'View My Account'
- Click 'My Profile'
-
Under General Profile look at your Username
- If your username has a + followed by your phone number entered, you created your account with your phone number and can sign into the mobile app using the 'Using my mobile number' option
- If your username is your email address or a self-generated username you will need to sign in using the 'Using my email address or TouchPass username and password' option
If your username is NOT + your mobile number and you sign in with the first method listed above, you will create a new account and won't have access to your cash balance or pass.
If you need additional support, please contact your local transit agency or view our Trying to Log In to the Umo App? article.
