At select transit agencies, you can pay your fare by simply tapping a bank card at the Umo Reader when boarding. This eliminates the hassle of creating an account, downloading an app, purchasing and loading a transit card or fumbling with cash and coins.
If you see your bank card icon on the Umo Reader screen when you board, it should be accepted as long as it does not require a pin number and your card has the contactless symbol .
Not all Umo readers that display the contactless symbol
will also accept bank cards. Please view your local transit agency's website or contact them for more information on the availability of bankcard tap to pay.

Question: I tapped my bankcard at a Umo Reader and when I checked my bankcard statement at the end of the month, the charge appeared 2 weeks later. Why was there a delay in payment authorization?
Answer: It is possible that your bankcard had a negative balance when you tapped to pay your fare and the payment did not complete. The payment authorization will be delayed if your bankcard account is not in good standing. It is likely that upon reconciliation of your account, there was another attempt by your bankcard merchant to recover the payment and the charge then posted to your bankcard statement.
