What is a Umo Card?
A Umo Card is a reloadable payment card that provides you with easy fare transactions for your ride. Once you have added a pass or stored value to your Umo Card, simply tap your Umo Card on the electronic reader when boarding the bus or train to conveniently pay your fare.
You cannot use both the Umo card and the Umo app. You must choose one or the other.
For example: If you download the Umo App and create an account, your Umo Card will be disabled.

How does a Umo Card work?
A Umo Card is a physical card you can use for transportation through your local transit agency. Load it with stored value or a pass, and when you travel, just tap it on the card reader. It deducts the fare automatically, making it easy and quick to pay for your trip.
How do I load funds onto my Umo Card?
Once you register your Umo Card, you can purchase a transit pass, add stored value, check your Umo Card balance, and change your Umo Card payment method. You can also set up autoload on the My Wallet tab when the balance on your Umo Card falls below the threshold you specify.

To get started with Umo, you need to do one of the following:
- Create an Online Umo Account – Register your Umo card at the Umo Passenger Portal (umopass.com for U.S. riders, ca.umopass.com for non-U.S. riders) to top up or buy passes, set up autoload, and manage your card-based payments.

- Download the Umo App – Download the Umo App on your smartphone from either the iOS App Store or Google Play Store and set up your account.
